Vapour Recovery Unit (VRU)

Unit Description

In 1983, Vapour Recovery Unit was established by Enppi - Egypt with production capacity of 52,000 tons per year (64 ton/hr) Stabilized Naphtha in addition to 56,000 tons per year Butane gas (LPG) and 20,000 tons per year Propane.

The capacity was increased to 100,000 tons LPG per year.

Replaced the controlling system to a new Digital Distribution Control "DCS" by Yokogawa (2007).
